Fantastic tour and an overall great experience

The tour overall was fantastic. To start with the outstanding points. 1) Our driver, Manohar was an absolute star. He looked after us like family and made sure we were always safe and comfortable. He was patient enough to stop wherever we felt we wanted to and showed us some good quality handicraft shops when I wanted a painting. 2) All our guides, Raghu, Harshvardhan and Ashiya were superb. They were extremely knowledgable and patient with all our questions. A special shout out to Raghu for being a top notch pleasant guy full of smiles. 3) The tour overall was amazing, a relaxing journey, some great historical sites to visit. 4) The hotels in Agra (Jaypee) and Ranthambore (Bookmark) were exceptional. A special shout out to the surprise private heated plunge pool we got at Bookmark. Absolutely loved it! 5) Amit, the tour operator, was really communicative and well organised. He eased our burden of having to manage things ourselves. He was also flexible with any add ons we wanted. On a few slightly minor points for which I’ve made recommendations - 1) The safari in ranthambore was uncomfortable. The seats in the canter were wet and on the way back to the gate the driver was speeding over potholes. As a recommendation for the tour operator, it would be nice to have an upgrade option to a private or shared jeep. On the plus side, we did see a tiger! 2) Holiday Inn in Jaipur wasn’t a very good hotel despite being a 5 star. The view was of an ugly side of another building. At night there were people yelling outside the door and the food was average. As a recommendation it would be great to have options for alternate hotels even if it meant at an extra cost, if needed. I would highly recommend crystal travels and all the named individuals for the golden triangle tour.

Loved it!! They go above and beyond

This tour exceeded my expectations. Our driver, Ashock, was very friendly, spoke good English, was knowledgeable, and accommodating. We always felt safe on the road and he stayed with the car to watch our stuff. He was with us the entire trip and we felt sad when we had to say goodbye. Our driver knew what restaurants to stop at for lunch so we would not get sick and they all had really good local food. Every city had a local tour guide. We loved all of ours. All spoke excellent English, were fun and friendly. They all had so much knowledge and a love for their city. I felt like the tour company found the top tour guides to take us around. All were wonderful and felt like friends. All the 5 star hotels were very nice. All we had to do was pay and show up. The tour company did the rest. All the people assisting us had big hearts. Such nice people. They really want to make sure you love your time in Inida and we are. We actually felt like queens traveling around with people taking care of all our needs. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour

Superb trip. Taj Mahal and Golden Fort were highlights. Rajesh, our driver was superb. Calmness personified and such a lovely man. Safari was very exciting but unfortunately no Tiger, but that’s how it goes. Plenty of other wildlife seen including 2 crocs. Hotels were brilliant. Great trip and can’t recommend highly enough.

We had the best trip! We had the most amazing driver Sohan that went above and beyond for us! My friend and I are two females in our 20s and we had three amazing female guides! The accommodations were extremely luxurious! We could not ask for a better and safer experience! Also, we saw tigers and super close!!! I wish that I could include photos in the review!

What an experience! Our driver Manu felt like a friend at the end of our journey. The JP Palace in Agra, the Intercontinental in Jaipur, and the Aamagat Resort in Ranthabore were all top notch. Our guides, especially Kaushiki in Delhi, were so knowledgeable and friendly. Trip of a lifetime 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Awesome trip with tigers!!

The tiger safari was awesome, the hotels were fine, the driver and city guides excellent. Talk about personalized service! The tour company dealt with problems quickly behind the scenes. I enjoyed seeing the countryside in the drives between cities as well. The tour company uses What's App to communicate at times, so it is good to have that app installed an ready to go.

Amazing Tour!

The 4 day Golden Triangle tour way exceeded my expectations and made traveling through so many parts of India easy and relaxing. Right after I booked the tour Amit checked in on me and again later to make sure everything went smoothly. He connected me to the most kind and helpful driver/guide named Paramjeet who made my 4 days in India so incredible, relaxing, easy and fun. He connected me to the best local guides and always had an endless supply of cold water ready for me. I still can't get over how much I got to see with such ease because of Paramjeet. It was so much better than I ever imagined.

See a lot of India at a reasonable price

We wanted to see as much of India as we could in 5 days, and this does that. The hotels were REALLY nice, our driver and the local tour guides were great, and we saw a wild tiger in Ranthambore! You just need to understand that it’s a lot of driving. The car was very comfortable with good AC though, so we napped a lot on the drive. The lunch stops were ok, but it would have been nice to have more options.

HIGHLY Recommend this tour!!!!

The guides and drivers assigned were fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable and in quickly getting to know us, made excellent suggestions to revise some of the itinerary to get even more activities in. We would highly recommend it except the Hilton in Jaipur was awful despite it being labeled as a 5 star property. Rooms were dank, smelly, and dirty. Guides were mortified when we told them our experience there for the one night. Beyond that all was superb.

We saw tigers 😁

A fantastic 4 day trip. Our driver Mr Singh deftly navigated the intense Indian traffic and the hotels were truly 5 star luxury. A seamless flow from tour operator- would definitely recommend

Amazing and Personalized Tour!

This amazing tour exceeded all my expectations! I was a solo traveler and wanted to see the highlights of India in a short amount of time and this option with a private driver was perfect. My driver, Rakesh, was the best! He was so knowledgeable and friendly and made sure I got all the photos I wanted :) I felt safe and very comfortable. He went out of his way to make my vacation fun. All the hotels (I chose the 5 star option) were just incredible especially the one at the tiger safari. It was the Ama Ghati Resort and I felt like a celebrity there! The room and grounds were lavish and they even put on a nightly show. All of the places that we visited were spectacular. The Taj Mahal at sunrise with all the monkeys along the path was beautiful as were so many of the other monuments. I also recommend the optional photography package at the Taj Mahal - what a great way to capture the memories. Yes, it was unbelievably hot (May tour) so I appreciated the option to alter the schedule at times to do less walking. My favorite day was at Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve - I was very blessed to see 2 tigers!! The safari guide, Devraj Singh, was also amazing - he would even help us get great photos through he binoculars. Some other highlights for me were getting to ride an elephant up to the fort in Jaipur - what an experience! It was once in a lifetime and I was glad to learn about all the ways they care for the elephants. I also loved the rickshaw ride - how fun! I appreciated the short photograph stop at monkey temple too! I enjoyed the drives also - it was many hours but it went by quickly as I watched the countryside and all the cows and other animals mixed in with all the people and colorful trees. Rakesh took me to a nice souvenir store (which was helpful because the street sellers were a little overwhelming for me) and places to watch demonstrations such as block printing (which I also got to practice). In addition, all of the city guides that coordinated with us were very kind and enthusiastic about sharing India's history and culture. Each one would take photos for me and answer questions. I would highly recommend this tour - I was able to see and do everything I wanted to do and more!

Golden Triangle

This tour was fantastic and I recommend it to anyone who wants to do the Golden Triangle. It was very well organised and everything is centred around you seeing all the keys sights. The guides were amazing but special mention to our fantastic driver (Surinder) who looked after us. It was very hot and you cannot put a price on your driver collecting after each sight seeing stop. I recommend you taking the 5 star hotels as they were amazing.

The entire trip was amazing. The guides were very knowledgeable polite and helpful. Our driver, RK Mishra was amazing! He made our trip great. It would not have been the same without him. He provided great service and was always there for us. The hotels (5 star service) were great as well. I have NO complaints at all! Thank you for providing a great experience!

Golden triangle, golden experience

I had a really great time on this tour! I was a solo traveler, in India for business and decided to stay a few extra days to see some sights. I felt safe with the driver and he got me everywhere safely. Guides were personable and knowledgeable about the area. I would be willing to take another tour via this operator when I’m in the area in the future. Pros: Taj Mahal is breathtaking in the morning. Saw many tigers at the safari in a small open air safari truck with 3 others (experience may vary), amber fort. (Unfortunately the elephants were not running due to Hindu new year), Amangati hotel at the national park Cons: the highway restaurant they the driver takes you to. Avoid if you can. Food stinks and tastes old. Staff at the Radisson hotel Jaipur constantly after tips and tack on random added fees when you check in. I was asked to cough up 25 usd for a “elite room upgrade” that promised me I would be getting a larger room with a tub. I was not impressed with the room. Lotus temple in Delhi doesn’t seem to fit the vibe of their other places you are taken to. I wish admission fees were included in the price. I didn’t not like having to hand money to my tour guide in the middle of the street so they could get my ticket. Overall a great and memorable trip. Recommend for travelers who want to sit back with all sights taken care of.

Amazing tour!!

A totally amazing tour! Our driver Raj was so nice and a great driver through the tight streets of India. Every tour guide was great and so friendly. The sights, food and people were all perfect. Celebrating Holi in Jaipur was by far one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience

An incredible experience, would highly recommend. Everything about this tour exceeded our expectations. Our driver Monu was excellent and highly attentive: always early for pick ups and available to assist and support us throughout the day. All the local guides were fantastic and very insightful. We stayed in a fabulous range of 5 star hotels with great food and service. The car journeys were long but we were warned about this in advance. The itinerary is as described. Everything we had hoped for and more. We brought 12,000 rupees with us and that covered entrance fees, lunches, tips and extra bits. Couldn’t fault this trip at all- the best way to see Indian highlights in a short space of time.

Amazing First Trip to India - Solo Traveller

The 4 Day Golden Triangle with Ranthambore Tiger Safari Tour was 4 days of jam-packed amazingness! First of all, if you're able to, I would highly recommend the 5-star accommodation option. Crystal India Holidays handles all the reservations and all you do is show up. Not to mention the hotels were beautiful. Be mindful that there are some very long drives between cities. I have to give a huge shout out to my driver Sunil! Sunil is definitely a master driver, the way he was able to navigate all the busy streets of India! Sunil always showed up early for my pick-ups, he made sure I drank and had enough water for the hot days and that I had enough food in my stomach, he didn't drive off after a drop-off until he knew I was received by hotel staff, made sure I did not rush through each day and that I took my time, he even shared with me some classic Indian snacks. I always felt safe when Sunil was around and cannot thank him enough for being my driver and getting me through the trip. New Delhi Tour: If you're able to do an extra day in Delhi, I would recommend it. With this tour you hit the major attractions of the city, but Delhi is huge that it is tough to do everything in one day, and still get to Agra in a reasonable amount of time. Agra Tour: My accommodation in Agra was the Jaypee Palace. Beautiful hotel! The Taj Mahal was amazing. My local tour guide Arif did a great job going through the history of all the monuments visited as well the architectural details. Ranthambore National Park: Agra to Ranthambore was a very long drive! My accommodation in Ranthambore was the Aamaghati Wildlife Resort. This resort was great! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I think I was the only foreigner staying there that night and they made sure to go out of their way to make me feel included in all the hotel activities. I read reviews that a lot of people were disappointed for not being in a jeep. I ended up in a 19-person open-air canter, which I honestly did not mind. I actually liked the fact that the canter was taller and you could see over the jeeps when animal watching. This is a very bumpy ride, so make sure you are prepared if you are prone to motion sickness. Understand that there is not a guarantee you will see tigers. Luckily, I did see tigers on my trip! We also saw a few other wildlife animals. Jaipur: My accommodation was InterContinental Jaipur. This was probably the biggest hotel of the 3 I stayed in. The room was huge with plenty of food options. I personally opted for the dinner buffet option, which had so many food items. The same goes with the breakfast buffet, so much food. Make sure to look everywhere to see all your options. One guarantee is you will not leave hungry! I forgot the name of my guide in Jaipur, but he was also great! Overall, I am so glad I did this trip!

Made amazing memories!!!

Crystal India Holidays we’re excellent. We had a bad experience with the first hotel we booked for ourselves arriving in Delhi and messaged Crystal holidays to update our pick up hotel and they were responsive and very helpful. All the hotels they booked us into were clean and nice stays. Our driver Raj was excellent always there on time and knew where he was going no matter what city we were in. When we went onto to Goa and Mumbai ourselves we really missed Raj and our guides as it’s makes the trip so much easier. Great trip and would book with Crystal holidays again.

Golden triangle 4days

Company THE CRYSTAL INDIA was the one who iorganized The whole 4 days golden triangle. I had my own driver who drove me between different places. He was very reliable and took good care of me- never went without making sure I checked in ar The hotel. Every place i visited i got a guide. Guides were very knowledgeable and showed me all the things / places I wished to see. Allover the tour was worth the money IF you want to see much of india in a short period of time and you are solo female traveler.

Great trip

Great trip prior to seeing 1st Test match India v England with my brother. Although cold and misty in Agra, the Taj Mahal was still beautiful. Didn’t see any tigers at Ranthambore but had a superb day in Jaipur. Guides were very good and we had a superb driver in Pamrajit. Hotels were fine and we would definitely recommend this trip. Amazing trip in beautiful India

Beautiful trip with a professional team (driver, local guides). Safe guidelines during these 4 intense days . The 3 Hotels were clean and good. We also went to Ranthambore which was 6h away from Agra, even if we don’t regret it, please note that there is no guarantee to see tigers, which was a bit disappointing as we did not see much more than owls, deers and monkeys. Plus we did not get a jeep as promised but an open bus. Jaipur and Agra were amazing. Our driver Nek was helpful and friendly and pro. Local guides were knowledgeable. Be ready to eat amazing food also. Highly recommended.

Great Time except for the Tiger Safari tour.

The 4 day private 5 star Hotels escorted tour was great, except the Tiger Tour which I would rate about 1 or 2 stars because we were loaded onto a crowded 20 person large open safari truck with 1 guide. Being that our trip was to be private tour, a 6 person safari jeeps that were available, should have been used!!! We were on a Tiger Safari with a bunch of loud inconsiderate Bird Watchers. This was supposed to have been a Tiger Safari? An opition should have been available for the 6 person safari jeeps at the least. Outside of the Tiger Safari tour, I would highly rate the resort and all the rest of the resorts and tours and our private car and driver with 5+ stars.

Like having a local friend

I can not praise this company enough. From start to finish, we were very well taken care of. Comfortable car, clever and secure driver, clever guides who knew what they were talking of. This felt a bit like having a local friend, who was helping & taking care of us. We would never have figured out all the local stuff ourselves. Thanks to Annu for excellent company.

A Solo Traveler at The Golden Triangle

This tour by far exceeded my expectations in value and comfort. My private driver named Vivek is the best driver who is very professional and courteous. My tour guide in Agra Wasim is very knowledgeable of the history behind the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, he also takes the best pictures. Naveen my tour guide in Jaipur is very smart and extremely professional and very knowledgeable of Jaipur. Overall this was the best trip I have taken and was able to see so much of India in such little time. The 5 starts hotels were more like 7 stars they were beautiful properties with the best breakfast and staff. I would recommend this trip to all who want to see India in a short time.

Excellent!

Really great and attentive driver and guides. Driver Radish was driving really safe, never got unsafe in any way and we could stop and buy food/bathroom whenever and however long we wanted. Got to see the most important sites in the golden triangle with knowledgable guides and also saw a tiger very close! Also since it was private guide and driver it was flexible. For example, one of us got a little sick (unrelated to the trip, chronic issues) and it was no problem to stay a little longer at the hotel and be picked up later while others could go on that days tour. Would definitely recommend anyone who want to see all the important sites without any hassle!

Nek- best driver ever!!!

It was a well coordinated trip with fantastic Nek, driving the whole 4 days. He was a safe driver in crazy traffic, very accommodating and flexible. We really felt he looked after us. Each guide of the city days we had great English speaking guides. There is a lot of driving, lots! If you can afford an extra day, stay extra in Jaipur. No tigers- requested small jeep for morning safari. Didn’t have high expectations, but saw interesting landscape and other animals

An absolute must

This trip was amazing! We went with six people, and it’s an absolute must if you are visiting India and only have a small amount of time. The driver Chain Singh was amazing and got us safely to every destination. All of the tour guides in each of the cities were very knowledgeable, and happy to answer all questions. Only sad thing was that we didn’t get to see tigers in Ranthambhore but that’s because we did a morning safari versus an evening safari (apparently you are more likely to see them in the evening). We chose to stay at all five star hotels and they were all absolutely stunning. Clean, beautiful, well-kept, and great beds. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast included in the hotels was plentiful.

Excellent tour- Must go!

This tour was amazing! It’s a busy four days but well worth it. We went to pretty much every stop as promised, and everything we saw was exceptional. Ranthambore is stunning regardless of whether you see a tiger (we did!) and worth the drive. The hotels were great (especially the Jaypee Palace and The Tigress). It is a light itinerary in Delhi comprising mostly of places on the outskirts of town, so I’d suggest an extra day or two in Delhi which we planned for. Our driver Kamal was a fantastic driver with a very comfortable car- he was really an additional guide with so much information! Our guides in each city were quite good too. Can’t recommend this tour enough!

Great tour!

My driver, Prithi, was excellent. So helpful and considerate, and also a good conversation partner during some of the longer driving stretches. The local guides were all very good as well. The hotels were all high quality -- I particularly enjoyed the hotels in Agra and Ranthambore (wasn't as big a fan of the Radisson in Jaipur - too sterile and westernized, though perfectly clean and nice). Agra was incredible, and the highlight of the trip - the Taj Mahal is everything it's cracked up to be, and the Agra Fort was great as well. Jaipur was lovely also, especially the Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort / Mirror Palace. The safari in Ranthambore was a little disappointing, in that we saw no tigers and in fact no wildlife that I couldn't see at home in the U.S. It was also a long drive to get to Ranthambore and back. But it was still enjoyable and interesting, and the hotel there is great. Overall, Crystal Tours of India delivered what they promised, and it was a great way to do sightseeing in northern India.

A fantastic tour which is definitely worth the money

I can only confirm all the other fantastic reviews of this tour. The driver was really outstanding and gave us a fantastic time since we spend quite a lot time in the car. The local guides are really knowledgeable and helpful. We booked the tour without the hotel package which was totally okay for everybody. Be aware that the local guides show you also some demonstrations of local crafts. It really depends on you if you want to buy something from the stores. Nobody is pressuring you into something. The whole tour is really worth the money if you want a seamless tour without to worry about guides and transportation.

5 star experience!

It was a great experience. Our driver Ashok was such a gentleman. Most of our local guide were very knowledgeable and the hotels were generally very well picked. I would definitely do it again.

Una maravilla!

We had an awesome trip and wonderful experience. The places we visited were amazing, the Hotels were top quality. The tour guides (Naresh, Maneesh and Mukesh) were polite, nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They would not only be tour guides but also take pictures, show best places/angles for photos, help us carrying stuff and provide advice. Our driver Bindar was excellent as well. He was nice, respectful, polite, helpful and gave us a peaceful, comfortable drive through the "colorful" traffic of India. Bindar would also accommodate to support small special requests outside the tour itinerary. We didn't have face-to-face contact with the local tour operator (Amit), but he was very efficient in the previous coordination, communication, logistics, package preparation and instruction manual. He was also flexible in allowing us to make changes to the trip. We are very happy with the tour. One advice to reduce your time in car would be to make separate flights arriving in Delhi but departing back from Jaipur (or vice versa).

An amazing experience

Excellent way to see the major sites in India in 4 days. You have a personal driver ( Annu was amazing, kind, helpful and funny). We toured New Dehli with a tourguide who was very informative. Then we drove to Agra to the Taj Mahal. Our guide Racheed was amazing with the camera, knowing the ins and outs of each location. We arrived at the Taj Mahal at 5 am just so we could get amazing photos with no people in the background. Then onto the Tiger Safari. The Tigress hotel was gorgeous! Although it rained and we did not see many animals the jeep ride in the rain was an adventure in itself! Still worth the extra day. Finally Jaipur was beautiful. Our guide was funny, alot of one liners and he knew alot and helped us navigate the cultural differences. Overall the trip was worth the expense and time.There is nothing I would change. Only recommendation, from a female point of view is to bring your own toilet paper. Not a commonly stocked item :)

Girls trip to India

Our 4 days trip of Northern India was amazing. Our driver, Ashok, who was with us throughout was always on time, helpful and a respectful companion. The different guides we had in the 3 cities were all very knowledgeable. Our guide of the Taj Mahal, who was also named Ashok, was an excellent photographer. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Very nice trip! Would recommend

The trip was very well organized and planned out. The company reached out and was very informative on the details of the trip and willing and able to answer all our questions. Our driver, Sharwan, was great! Very prompt, knowledgeable, looked out for us, and made the tour very enjoyable. The trip hits the big places to see as part of the Golden Triangle (although Delhi has much more things to be seen). Each city had a different guide, our best one was in Jaipur, Mukesh. We chose the 5 star hotel option which was 100% worth the few extra bucks compared to the 4 star hotels. Be warned though, the trip does include a lot of driving and time in the car.

4 day golden triangle with Rathambhore tiger safari

The trip was once in a lifetime. A core memory that I’ll never forget. All the hotels were very nice and food was delicious. The different guides along the tour were very knowledgeable and made me feel as if I were at home they answered all the question I asked and were very friendly. The tiger tour was amazing! I was one of the few that actually got to see a tiger right before it was time to leave. Overall this tour was an incredible experience.

Wonderful way to see the Golden Triangle

This trip was a wonderful way to see the Golden Triangle. The driver (same driver takes you to each city) and guides at each city were amazing! They were very knowledgable and knew exactly which restaurants to take you to so we never got Delhi belly! The car ride between the cities were long (4 hours / 5-6 hours) But we napped during the ride and it went fast! Highly recommend!

Great experience

Our driver was fantastic, which was very important given the amount of time spent in the car between cities. The local guides were all great. Hotels were good, except for the one in Ranthambore, which was a bit run down. Overall I would definitely recommend this company for a golden triangle trip.

Great Tour

The tour ran very smoothly, the Hotels were all very good, and the tour guides at the locations were friendly knowledgeable and flexible. Be aware the tour has a lot of time driving on roads that aren't always the best not suited for bad travelers. The guides showed us some great sites that weren't on the itinerary. We were lucky to see a tiger at distance at Ranthambore as well as crocodiles and various dear. A good tour but quite tiring.

The best 4 days!!

An incredible 4 day trip around the Golden Triangle. The cities were beautiful and the guides were fantastic along the way with brilliant knowledge, and spoke with very good English. The hotels were all super friendly and very comfortable, we were surprised just how amazing they all were. The highest praise goes to our driver Sharwan Kumar, who’s great humour, knowledge and tentativeness, made the long daily drives fly by. He would always turn up on time and would always ensure we were comfortable, topped up on water and ask if we needed any breaks. I was actually ill one of the days, and he took care of me and recommended a drink that would help, and sure enough I felt better by the evening. This was a fantastic tour and I couldn’t fault a single part of it!

Great way to experience India

This was great experience. Out group included two women, one man and and a young adult female. Our Driver Rajesh was friendly and flexible and worked with us to make our tour what we wanted and everyone was comfortable. All the guides in the individual cities were knowledgeable and friendly. We opted for the 5star option and hotels were all clean and comfortable. We had a great time and highly recommend this tour.

Responded quickly to my messages and arranged for pickup at the hotel we were staying at (somewhat outside of downtown Delhi, as we were there for a wedding). Our driver, Sohan arrived early and was prompt and professional throughout the entire trip. Car was in excellent working order (especially A/C)! Licensed, local guides at each stop (Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur) who were very knowledgeable and friendly. In particular, our guides in Agra (Manush) and Jaipur (Yogi) were outstanding (and took GREAT photographs)! Great dining recommendations by our guides and our driver. We paid for the 5-star option on hotels. All three (Jaypee Palace in Agra, Tigress in Ranthambore, and Radisson in Jaipur) were outstanding. Staff at each went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our server at the Tigress, Bhatti Lai was particularly memorable in the level of service he provided. If we were to do it over again, I wouldn't have done it any other way. Visiting the Golden Triangle is a singular experience - this is the way to do it. Some cautions: drive times between cities are LONG (as in several hours); be ready. Also, we found that we needed quite a bit more cash then was recommended (though I'll admit that we tend to be generous tippers). I think we needed about INR30,000 in cash to cover admissions and tips for everyone (restaurants took Visa). We also discovered that we were limited to INR10,000 max on our withdrawals at ATMs (not sure if it was just our bank) so plan accordingly.

Great tour for young and old

A really great tour that we can highly recommend to everyone! Everything was perfectly organized and the private driver was available to us from start to end and was extremely nice and competent. In each city came local guides who were also well informed and also spoke good German. All cities + attractions as well as the 5-star hotels were great. Absolutely recommendable tour with very good value for money!
