No refund...no apologies...wouldn't advise using a transport service through Viator ever again.

Waiting at 5am for our transport to pick us up at the hotel to go to Heathrow airport. It was over 1 1/2 hour drive to the airport and our flight departed at 9am. Finally got in touch with Viator since the transport company did not answer their emergency number. Viator said they were picking us up at 7:30am! We would have arrived at the airport when our flight departed. Had to call a cab to come get us. Viator refuses to refund our money even though I had contacted the company prior to our departure with our departure time. We were in the lobby at 5am waiting as that is when I was told they would pick us up. Have used Viator while traveling in many countries but will not use them again as they do not stand up for the customer.

Almost missed our flight. Driver no show.

We scheduled a transfer to the airport from 190 Bermondsey for 6:25am on 10/1/23. Our driver never came and at 7:12am we called an Uber We followed all the instructions given to us. The telephone number was not working and the second number given no one answered (just music). I was on hold for 15 min. The front desk said “no one came to the front desk to inquire about us” I received a text at 7:11am that the driver was waiting, he was not there. We had been in the lobby and standing outside on Bermondsey I am requesting a full refund Thank-you. Rebecca Murphy

Very Unreliable Service

This was a terrible experience. The vehicle and driver never came to get us, but fortunately the hotel manager got us a private car. According to the directions from the vendor, we were to be available for pick-up in the lobby 4.5 hours prior to international flight. I called their number after waiting for 15 minutes in lobby and was on hold for 20 minutes without getting a response, I gave up. The hotel manager at that point had already called for a taxi. The service then called saying the driver was in the lobby waiting for us! Interestingly, I was also in the lobby with my family with the hotel manager. The person on the call gave me a cell number to call that I and the hotel manager wrote down. We both called and got no answer. At this point, I needed to get to airport. So, I got my family in the taxi. We barely made the flight. After complaining I got this message from service, "Please note no show has been reported." Use at your own risk!

Fantastic Viator Drivers

Our driver was friendly and shares some aspects about the company , also some info about the police escorted royalty that we happened to meet on our way to the airport. Most of all very helpful with our luggages and very professional.

Used Twice While in the UK

I used London Travel In twice on my recent visit to the UK. The first time was when my ship Queen Mary 2 arrived at Southampton. There was a little challenge finding the driver who was there and on time but with the crowd and layout of the pickup area, we did not find each other easily. May I suggest that the little screen they have our name on might not be the best? With the morning sun hitting it, it was just black and you could not read the name. Other drivers had paper with the name and that was much easier to see in the bright sun. We did find each other though and the drive in was good. I used them again to get from my hotel to Heathrow when it was time to leave and, again, the driver was on time, the ride was smooth, and I arrived promptly at my destination. I will definitely use them again in my future visits.

Our driver arrived earlier than scheduled per our request and got us to airport with plenty of time.

Stressful and time consuming experience

There was no communication, no verification from the driver. I had to make numerous phone calls the night before pickup with no response. Finally called the Viator number and was on the phone for 20 minutes to finally get confirmation a driver would be there at 3:30am for the hotel to airport pickup. We waited in the lobby and finally at 3:40 the driver showed up and it was just an UBER driver? I could have booked that? And it would have been $50 cheaper? The driver watched as my wife and I loaded our luggage into his trunk. And at the airport he watched us unload our luggage. This will probably be my last time booking with Viator, it would have been less and I would have had better results doing it myself.

Good Choice for Affordable Airport Transfer

My driver was great! He was early to pick me up from my hotel, very kind, and got me to the airport with no issues. However, when I was booking I was charged an additional amount since I was outside of the charging rate zone. This was a little frustrating since I was getting picked up in a London neighborhood and wish this was made more clear at time of booking for transparency. Also, no one confirmed the time that I was to be picked up until I called to confirm which was frustrating. Overall, the experience was good and I would book with them again.

the trip to airport was handled with care and finesse. The driver arrived early and called to tell us he had arrived. We were whisked to airport at 4am with no problems at all. Driver was awesome helping us with bags and correct terminal.

Worth the piece of mind

Was very pleased with our driver, who was on time, friendly, and certainly knew his way around. The only anxiety we had was the volume of London traffic, which was out of his control. Nonetheless, he knew the best route to overcome the sudden appearance of a road closure in central London on departure morning. Would use again

Our driver was early and very interesting to talk to on the long and traffic filled ride to Heathrow. But chatting with him made it seem to go more quickly. I wish I had caught his name! Probably could have taken the train for less money but we were lazy and had bags and this worked well for us.

Would NOT Recommend This Service!

I wouldn’t recommend this service AT ALL, either coming or going. The driver from the airport to the hotel was late getting there. We had to walk up/down the row of waiting drivers for about 15-20 minutes until I finally spotted him — he had apparently just arrived. Not a great way to start our trip. Our plane was on time, and he offered no explanation or apology for being late. And then the return trip — the instructions said pickup would be in the lobby of the hotel 3 1/2 hours prior to departure. Our flight was scheduled for 10:35 — making our pickup at 7 a.m. We were in the lobby at 6:50; no driver. Apparently, as I later found out via a voicemail message he’d left, pickup time was 6:30. I received no update — no text or email confirming the pickup or time or anything, just the irritated VM message from the driver. So I had to pay $120 for Uber to get us to the airport. I will attempt to get a refund but highly doubt it will happen. Lesson learned. Uber will be the way to go next time for sure.

We needed a ride to the airport. The driver was on time and very personable. He was already informed about our flight; on time and its departure terminal which was really stress relieving. The car was clean and roomy. We were very pleased.

Pickup from the airport to our London hotel

Once I had called the service while in the arrival area of LHR, we were able to make contact with our driver. We had to wait for him to find the other couple, coming in from another flight, and then we were on our way. Our driver was courteous and cordial and attentive to our needs. It just took a little while to get going from LHR.

Shared taxi made us late for the airport- how is this fair?

Have an extra star as our driver was great- we were terribly disappointed as we had to wait for a group we were picking up. Having stayed in London for a week, we learned quickly that taxis don’t wait. Well, when we went to pickup the next group, we had to wait for them to get ready as when we arrived the hotel had to go and wake them up. We waited for over 30 mins- which made for our airport experience being very rushed. And the couple that made us late had a flight 2 hours after ours. Our driver should has left and had a different taxi get this group. I wanted to get some extra gifts as we didn’t get all our shopping done, but we had no extra time at the airport for anything- very frustrating as a different taxi could have come back for the other people.
