Fun alternative to bus tours!

As a person who bikes in my home city (Boston) daily and in New York City frequently, the prospect of riding in London scared the heck out of me at first! First time around, I was just wary of the congestion and lack of knowledge. This tour took care of both of those things. Nearly all of the cycling is done on less crowded side roads, and overall I would rate the level of riding as easy - novice riders would be OK on this tour. The bikes are pedal-assist folding bikes (Dahon? I couldn’t tell) with disc brakes. There’s a six speed cassette with thumb shifter, but it’s set up to stay in gear 6. Works for 99% of the ride, but God help you if you stop in an incline - with no ability to downshift. Starting up again is a bit of a chore. Honestly, this is a minor complaint and may just be my personal preference born out of experience. The tour itself is very enjoyable, hitting all the sweet spots you’d expect, with plenty of photo opportunities. The Borough Market was a nice stop not offered on a lot of other tours, and the time allowed there inspired me to return that afternoon. The ride back takes you on the “bicycle highway” which is a wonderful protected path, and one I’ll explore again on my own.

Our guide Usef was amazing! Very knowledgeable about London History and great vibes all around! He made sure we were all safe and stayed together during all the high traffic areas.

Good, but...

I enjoyed the tour and the tour guide - informative and fun. I do seriously think London E-Bike needs to upgrade their bikes by investing in new inventory. The bikes seemed old, my brakes did not perform that well, new bike with hydraulic brakes would be a huge improvement. The pedal assist was really bad, it took 3 - 4 revolutions to get the engine going and in a stop-and-go situation like biking around London is, pedal assist was almost useless. So to improve the customer experience, get new bikes!

E-bike tour

Excellent experience, wonderful and different view of London. Borough Market was absolutely delightful!! Younis was absolutely fantastic as our host. Definitely recommend.!

Best way to see the city!

Being able to stop to take photos of each place without being rushed was great! Eunice was a great tour guide who waited for all of us at stops to make sure no one got lost.

So fun and very informative

Younes (sp?) was a wonderful guide! We took the tour on our first full day in London and it really helped us get a lay of the land. His suggestions helped us figure out where we wanted to go back to and spend more time. The bikes were so easy to operate and the small motor really helped us enjoy the sites, you still have to peddle but it helped. You still need to pay close attention to your surroundings, London is a busy busy city but seeing it on the bikes was awesome! My husband and I had a blast!!

So good I’ve done it twice

This was my second time on Younes’ fabulous bike tour, having done the tour 2 years ago with my daughter, and on this trip, taking my husband and 14-year-old son. We had a terrific morning! One of the great things about this tour is that the guide can be flexible, and in our case, this allowed us an impromptu stop near Buckingham Palace to watch a guard ceremony with the Duke of Kent. Younes is engaging and well-versed in many aspects of British history, which brought the sights to life. An e-bike is a perfect way to see London in that you cover a lot of ground in a very short amount of time and it’s an easy ride. I highly recommend this tour!

Fun quick way to experience London

The e-bike tour was a fun and great way to get around. The weather was perfect for a ride around London so that helped. We got to see a lot of the cool sights like Westminster abbey, clock tower, Gabriel’s wharf, London bridge, and various other sights around the city. Even if you’re not In the best shape the e-bikes are easy to use.

Fun fun Loved it

Loved the open market the most. Loved the guide he was amazing and helpful. Knowledgeable! Small group. Loved the entire experience and I’m 64 and could enjoy the electric bike.

Just incredible!! Best London activity ever!

Thank you for the most incredible morning. My son and I had an amazing time; it was so much fun and we learnt so much from our tour guide, Eunice who is just a wonderful soul! Best activity I’ve done in London in my 44years and can’t wait to take other family members next time. Thank you for taking photos and videos too, and for sending me us a video montage!!🤗🤗🤗

Very late cancellation notice

I don't like to give bad reviews, but I gave 5 stars to other E-bike tours we took around Europe and it's not fair to give this tour more than 2 stars in comparison. First, we had booked this tours weeks in advance for Thursday morning. On the night before, at 8:42 pm I got a text that our tour was cancelled due to not meeting the minimum capacity. I was very upset about the late notice, but the man I talked to said the night before wasn't late notice. I disagree. Tourists have plans for each day of their vacation and are not flexible to change their plans within 12 hr notice. He wasn't very nice on the phone and emphasized multiple times that is written on viator that tour can get cancelled if they do not meet minimum participants! If you're planning to go in low season beware! We could reschedule to go on the tour another time. Yones was our tour guide and did a very good job navigating us through London on the left side of the road! I wished the tour was more informative, we passed along many interesting buildings, like Royal opera house, but the guide didn't mention all of them. It was more of just getting a feeling of landscape of London.

Loved it

Younis was an amazing guide. We covered a lot of London and this is not something we would be able to do on our own in a short time we are here for. Plus with ebike my feet do t hurt but I still see London and Younis makes it informative and fun. When we come back we will go biking with him again. He was funny smart and very professional. It was cold and he brought me a jacket and basket for my bag. Saved me. Bikes are wonderful.

Great tour of London

We had an excellent tour with Younes! If you want to see a lot of London in a short time, this is the tour for you. Younes was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable even cycling through crowded streets. We got many great photos. Younes also sent me suggestions for other things to do and restaurants to try later during our trip.

Wonderful way to see all the sights

We had an unexpected long layover in Heathrow so I booked this trip from the plane. Amazing response time, communication, logistics, and tour. We saw all of the sights in 2.5 hours, got exercise, and had an incredible experience with our guide. My teenage son loved it for his first time in London.

A Great Way to See London

I went on this tour with my family of four. Two teens 14 & 16yo. We only had two days in town and this tour was perfect for our needs. We hit all of the main sites and enjoyed our guide, Younis. There is more sightseeing and less historical reference, but that was perfect for our needs. We still got some history during the tour, just not too much. This is a great way to see a lot of London in a short amount of time. Thanks!!

Not sure I'd do it again

We got multiple messages to be 15 minutes early and we were. He didn't let us enter until 3. Waited for late people so we didn't start until 3:30. No tutorial on bike use. Leader didn't prepare us for the amount of foot and car traffic. There was dome walking. Bikes ran out of power at 5. Didn't finish until after 6...an hour late. Interferred with our evening plans. Length of ride affected by ability of slowest rider but leader didn't adjust for that.

Highly recommend!

Super fun tour! Younes is very cool and his knowledge of the city and the ways to bike around it made it very fun! In 2 hours we got to see iconic landmarks with little to no effort since the e-bikes are easy to ride. Younes even sent us a cool edited video of our family riding together through lots of cool places! Definitely repeating this tour when coming back!

Great way to see the city!

Our E-Bike tour was awesome! Yonas was very knowledgeable about each stop and the random questions we had about the city. Highly recommend doing this on the front end of your stay in London so you are familiar with the city.

Enjoyable ride

The ride was nice and the guide was pleasant, the only downside I would say that you are given couple of minutes (3-6 minutes) to visit the market and that's not enough time to buy and try something. As someone who was in London for a day, I wouldn't have another chance to visit the market again.

Great first day tour!

Highly recommended bike tour with a knowledgeable guide. We covered a ton of attractions. It's a great way to see a lot when you only have a short amount of time. London traffic would have held u up in a car, but we breezed through lots of areas where vehicles aren't allowed, and the London bike lanes are great.

Great 1st day activity! Overview of London!

Younes made this such a great tour with lots of tips and sharing just the right amount of history about each of the sites we saw! We loved the e bikes and because we were such a small group, we’re able to go through some tiny streets and tunnels. Loved all the pictures he took for us and he even made us a video! Taking a bike tour is our favorite first day activity in a new city to get a great overview!

It would have been even better if we gift our photos that he took and could been a little longer. Thanks

Our Guide was very good in the talking points and getting us around, but we booked for two hours and we were back in an hour and a half. He took photos of us, but forgot to give them to us. It was enjoyable being on the e bikes, but would have love to seen more.

The only e-bike tour available in London, but it is worth it!

Excellent trip! It was my first time riding an e-bike, and it turned out to be very enjoyable. We covered significantly more ground than we would have on foot, and I didn't feel tired at all at the end, despite having covered quite a distance. I was fortunate to be part of a small group, which contributed to a more personalized experience

Wonderful way to see London

Younes was awesome!! This bike tour was definitely a highlight of our trip. We got to go to so many places and Younes is very knowledgeable. He does everything he can to make sure everyone has a great experience! This bike tour is a must!

Wonderful and fun tour.

The tour was a great way to see the sites in London, and very fun to ride though the streets and alleys of London. The tour guide was very kind, and very knowledgeable of the city and the sites. He was willing to answer all of our questions and tell us ingesting and funny facts. He was helpful. The tour was a 10 out of 10.

A great time!!!

It was wonderful getting around town under our own power. We got right up to the sights, and the knowledge guide gave information. Honestly, at times riding in Lo don traffic was dicey, but it was doable. I would not recommend the trip for those under 16, but if you’ve passed sweet 16, definitely go!

Awesome Tour!

Younes showed us the most amazing sites in 2 hours time and gave me an idea of places I was interested in revisiting. I could not recommend this tour more! I’m bringing my husband back next month to do it again!

Do THIS first!

Dont miss! This is tour definitely goes through the stops quickly, but this is a great way to get the lay of the land and discover what you want to go back and check out in depth, later on in your trip! We got lucky being the only two on a beautiful day, so it was almost like a private tour! We had time for great pics and Younes got a great video of us biking past Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben). So much fun.

This was a great tour with stops at top locations. Was fun to cycle around the city. Tour guide Younes was very knowledgeable and a friendly guide.

Amazing bike ride- definitely the highlight of our time in London!

Our tour was amazing- first time on e-bikes and it was no problem after our tour guide Younes showed us how they work. We did the tour in the evening and were happy with this time because the weather was great and there were less people to contend with. We wanted to get an overview of all the main sights and this was exactly that- Younes provided lots of great info and had a really good sense of humour. He even gave us a video of our experience. We all want e-bikes now- thank you for a wonderful tour around London:)

BEWARE!!!! Conned me out of $125!!

I requested a 6pm tour for myself and my daughter via their website. However when I arrived at their offices, I was told that because there was insufficient people for the 6pm tour they had changed my time to 3pm and I had accepted this when making payment. This was not clearly advised to me, otherwise I would have canceled and not wasted my time showing up at 6pm. When I ask for a refund they refused as...get this...I was a no-show for the 3pm tour!!! I have contacted the police to make a formal complaint.

Very good value for money. Bikes easy to operate without the huff and puff of traditional bikes. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and friendly. The tour covered iconic sites plus some hidden gems. Highly recommended

London July 2023 E-bike

Been to London many times and have done lots of bus and boat tours. We didn't have much spare time so we thought an E-bike tour might be a good way to see lots. Luckily for us we were the only people on the tour that day so it was very personal and our guide answered lots of questions. It was a really good tour, we learnt lots and covered a big area. A really good way to start a London visit 👍
