Thoroughly enjoyed time at Abbey Road and really all the stops and sights along the way and that we spent both time on and off of the bus!

Beatles London coach tour

Colin provided an entertaining history of some famous Beatles landmarks in London and we traveled to the various locations via air conditioned coach bus. The group was small enough and Beatles music was playing on the bus so it was a fun and lively group. We of course stopped at Abbey Road as well as several other important locations during the formative years for the Beatles.

Such a lovely and ‘Lucky’ evening!

I don’t even know where to begin — such a great tour and experience. Lucky was such an incredible tour guide, so full of knowledge about the Beatles and about music in general. He led us to many meaningful Beatles sites, and he mixed wit and humor throughout. My wife and I loved everything about the tour — 5 stars!

Good tour. Not quite great.

As a huge Beatles fan, I’ve been looking towards this tour for a long time. Our tour guide had a lot of knowledge about bands of the ‘60s. I wish he focused just on The Beatles. He was hard to hear and he didn’t use the bus microphone until about 20 minutes into the tour. You had to stand very close to hear him when not on the bus. The Abbey Road crossing was a mess as there were so many people there and the traffic was busy. I’m not sure how to fix that, though.

The stories and history of the Beatles made for a fun and informative tour! We even got our picture taken on the famous Abbey Road!

Great start to our vacation!

We were a bit tired as we did this tour the day we flew in from JFK, but the tour guide’s energy and enthusiasm helped us overcome any weariness. He was knowledgeable, funny and engaging! I highly recommend this tour for Beatles fanatics and even casual fans!

Definietly worth the money and was a very fun time.

The tour was great fun seeing all the different locations that were so much a part of the Beatles history. We felt just seeing the different areas of London was also an added benefit.

The tour was a blast.

Jim was a bright, personable and knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed visiting many of the historical Beatles sites including Abbey Road, Apple studios, Paul McCartney’s and Mr. Epstein’s residence, plus many more. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Missed the tour

Missed the tour as arrived 3 minutes late. Unable to contact anyone to let them know we were running late.

Get your Beatles fix without the tired feet!

The guide was friendly and informative. Due to the fact that the tour was by bus during a busy time of day, the sites came and went quickly. However, my husband and I had been traveling in Europe for the ten days prior, so the comfort of our feet more than made up for that. The best part was the chance to get a picture at the famous Abbey Road crosswalk, of course! We really enjoyed the tour.

Fun time!

The tour was very good. A fun group and our guide was really good. Showed us all the top spots. Would have been nice to have some Beatles music on the tour as others had in the reviews though. But all in all I would recommend this tour.

All while listening to Beatles music in the comfort of a luxury van, Jim told stories, some we remembered, others we hadn't heard, of each of the Beatles and their significant others, from the time which they were unknown until their demise as a group, and then on to their individual ventures. Stops at key venues and photo-ops, including Jim snapping pix of each of us in the infamous Abbey Road crosswalk topped the experience. You will not be disappointed!

Fun

It was a fun tour. Our tour guide was on time and ready to go. You can tell he knew his Beatle history. The only suggestion would be to play some Beatles music during the tour.

Great guide! We loved seeing bits of Beatles history- crossing Abbey Road was a fun photo op & the site of the rooftop concert was cool!

No Show

No one showed up! I waited over an hour for the tour guide. No one responded to the contact numbers or communicated. Avoid at all costs. I ended up leading my own tour, which didn’t disappoint.

Ian was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He has been around the music industry and people in it for years.

I really enjoyed the tour. The tour guide had great energy and was very engaging, as well as knowledgeable. Great pictures were provided!

The Abbey Road crosswalk was the most memorable part of the tour.

The tour guide arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable about his subject. I appreciated having the passenger van to move us to the different points.

Good but not for children

The guide knows a lot about the Beatles, but 5 years ago we did the same tour with our oldest grandsons and it was a better experience, we were hearing beatles music the whole tour and that made the experience way better

Fabulous informative trip Ian Luck our guide was everything g you’d wish for a tour guide knowledgable funny great stories showed us lots of sights across London patient whilst we got our photo shots saw lots of books and cranny’s and great we were in a comfortable mini bus where we could look out and see lots of London aswell as the iconic Beatles sights and stories would definitely recommend

Awesome (even in the rain)

This was a fantastic upbeat tour. A lot of musical highlights were shared with us! We are so excited to have seen these sites, especially Abbey Road.

Down memory lane with Ian...

We had lots of fun and learned so much about not only some very interesting Beatles history but the history of the London neighborhoods and establishments that we visited. Ian was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. Thanks so much Ian, for a great night!

Quick but Fun

A nice overview of the key sites. Our guide was knowledgeable and managed the short time really well. We saw many places and he gave us a lot of good info. Great tour for folks who can’t manage walking tours (which I prefer if the sites are closer). It was nice in the evening with all the lights.

Must Do

My husband and I were on vacation in London and this was one of our pre-booked tours. It was fantastic! My husband loves the Beatles and this hit all the highlights. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend it!

Avoid at all costs

First off I am a huge Beatles fan and we were looking forward to the Beatles night time tour only to have a tour guide that was beyond horrible- he was all over the place with the information. He sounded out of breath with everything he said Instead of going to Abbey road first before dark and while the gift store was still open, he had other plans. By the time we got to Abbey road, it had started raining, which I realized he has no control of especially in London and he dropped us off, said he was going for petroleum and would be back. He showed up about 30 minutes later and we were all soaked. In addition, the other van was there and when we asked if we could wait on the van where it was dry, the driver said no. The tour guide should find another profession as this tour guide was not prepared and knowledgeable People on the bus were telling him things

Enjoyed Abbey Road Tour!

Neil was a good guide--very funny and full of good information. Walking across Abbey Road as a highlight but also enjoyed seeing where the roof top concert took place as well as Paul's house.

Fun Tour!

The Beatles Evening Tour was fun and informative. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the Beatles in general and their time and activities in London.

Great tour!

This was a great tour. The van was small, so there was a good size group, but not giant. The tour was excellent and a good value for the money.

Don’t waste your money

Went to London for a Beatles tour and got a Dutch guide who seemed to know little about either London or the Beatles. Most of the tour was driving by buildings that used to be Beatle related, pubs they frequented, with few stops. The guide had no Beatles info we didn’t already know, as casual fans, and most of our time was spent trying to find ways around traffic (both the guide and driver seemed clueless). The penultimate stop was the Abbey Road Studio, which is closed to visitors, but has a gift shop - unfortunately we had spent so much time wandering around in traffic that even the gift shop was closed. This tour was an absolute bust. Do yourself a favor and just take a taxi to Abbey Road and it’s gift shop.

Beatles evening tour.

My son and I had a marvelous time on this tour. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. He played Beatles music as we drive around the city. Classic! Abbey Road is a must do and our tour guide captured the perfect photo of my son. A must do while in London. Highly recommend.

Informative tour

Colin proved to be a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide for this great Beatles tour. Not only did he point out many Beatles sites but also other points of interest along the way. Our family of five had a great time as we listened to Beatles tidbits and enjoyed the spacious ride. We were able to get out at certain sites and walk a little bit which I enjoyed.

Fun tour

Lee was our guide and he was fantastic, talk about an encyclopedia of Rock and Roll!! Lee has a great, quirky personality and it adds to the flavor of the tour!! We had a great time and I certainly learned a lot!!

Best Tour for Beatles Fans

A Must For Beatle Fans

Colin was our guide and LOVES his job. We rode in a 10 passenger Mercedes van. Colin played Beatles music that coincided with what we were seeing. He took us to hole in the wall places and had pictures with him to compare to the past with the Fab Four. He even had us stop traffic while he photographed us at Abbey Road. It was definitely our favorite event in London.

Lived up to our expectations!

The tour was great! Ian was very knowledgeable. The tour was mostly driving but we got out at several stops to see sites and take pictures. Saw places we would never have found on our own. A must-do for all Beatles fans. Definitely a highlight of our trip to London!

Very disappointed

My husband was expecting a trip which would show an awareness of the Beatles as people and connect their music to the places we were visiting. Instead, it was a disconnected series of commentaries of many places of marginal relevance. It lacked empathy and joy with the Beatles music. Stefan’s pictures were frankly embarrassing- might be time for an update! In my mind, the tour was a failure- it had no beginning, middle or end. It’s also too long and we were driving around in the dark while Stephan was pointing out places where the Beatles got their fish and chips. He lacked appreciation of the greatness of the Beatles as musicians and their impact on 1960s music and culture. Trivia based and not having any music while travelling was another fail.

Beatles Tour

I bought my best friend these tickets for her birthday, we turned up at just before 6 and Ian came out and took us to the mini bus. There was 12 of us and I felt as though everyone was included, the bus was clean and safe. We were very impressed at the amount of knowledge that Ian knew. We would 100% recommend the tour and Ian to anyone who is a Beatles fan. We went to some amazing locations and learnt a lot. We were given the chance to get off the bus to take photos and get close to locations such as the Abbey road Studios. We absolutely loved it thank you Ian

Ugh! Don't waste your time or money.

I read the reviews and they said the tour wasn’t excellent but the guides were great. Ugh! Don’t waste your money. I read the reviews and they said the tour wasn’t excellent but the guides were great. Not the case in our situation. Don’t even know our tour guide’s name, he never gave it to us. He went by the places, told is what they were, but gave us no stories or context. Dropped us at Abbey Road and told us he would be back in 25 minute as he was going to go get juice. He left us there in the rain. He couldn’t even remember where he was taking us, he had to look for the street address on his map. My husband said “it is like he showed up for work and someone told him he was doing the Beatles Tour and he thought ‘oh crap, I haven’t done that one in the last 18 months.’ “. We were not the only guests who were disappointed. A group on the bus were so disappointed they wanted to get off and take the tube home but he wouldn’t let them. We had some good laughs though, not the type we expected.
